Interact Worldwide in Europe
Interact Worldwide collaborates with partners across Europe to increase support for sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) within the member states of the European Union (EU). Campaigns are coordinated with partners across the EU to ensure that advocacy in Westminster is matched in Brussels, Berlin, Paris and Stockholm. Our efforts aim to ensure that the EU and its member states remain key supporters and funders for development and SRH.
Interact are part of the European NGOs for sexual and reproductive health and rights, population and development (EuroNGOs) network which is dedicated to ensuring that the commitments made by 179 countries at the International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD) in 1994 are implemented to achieve universal access to sexual and reproductive health and services by 2015 including:
- Universal education
- Reduction of infant and child mortality
- Reduction of maternal mortality
- Access to reproductive and sexual health services including family planning
